Don’t you think, changing the stream from Science to Commerce in UG may be irrelevant? Your daughter has good marks in Science subjects, and she will shine well if she chooses a course like Biotechnology. However, it depends on her interest. Since she is interested in pursuing Commerce courses, you can give have a chance to prove. BBA course too has good career prospects. Firstly, please ask your daughter whether she is interested in pursuing Biotechnology, because you mentioned that she is not interested in pursuing an MBBS course itself.

If you are planning to pursue BSc, you have higher chances of securing admission to the University of Delhi. You can check the previous year’s cutoffs for DU for BSc course. The online registration process is expected to commence in June. Pursuing BSc from DU will have excellent career prospects.
If you are willing to get into NITs with a rank of 2,18,217, you can just check the opening and closing ranks of NITs for JEE Main. If you are sure about pursuing engineering, you can aim for admission in UP or IP engineering colleges, as admission chances in NITs may be limited for you.

Usually, the cutoff for BA English (Hons) course in top DU colleges are high. So, the chances of securing admission in top DU colleges in the BA English (Hons) course may be limited for you in the four cutoff lists. However, there are some chances for you to get admission in the DU fifth cutoff list.
The cutoff is different for different categories like SC/ST/OBC/General etc. The fifth cutoff for SC category for BA English (Hons) course in some of the DU colleges will be around 84%.

You are eligible to pursue a three-year LLB course if you clear the compartment exam. Even though you can’t get admission in top law colleges in India, you can try for admission in law courses located in your state, city or region. Since you did not give any entrance exam for admission in three-year LLB course, you can apply for admission under institutional-quota or management quota. Before taking up LLB course, it is advisable to analyse your abilities. LLB course requires a lot of hard work and study.

Usually, the cutoff for BCom course offered by DU colleges is high. The first cutoff opens around 99%, and seats in top colleges are expected to be filled in the first round. You can wait for the fifth cutoff list, so that you may have chances to get admission in any of the DU affiliated colleges (except the top colleges). According to previous year’s cutoff trend, the cutoff for some colleges as per the fifth list was approximately 83-85%. It is also advisable to apply for other colleges too for better admission chances.
