The Lok Sabha adjourned on Tuesday, 22 March as the second leg of the Budget Session of the Parliament resumed at 11 am today.
A ruckus broke out over rising gas prices and Opposition parties staged a walkout from the Lok Sabha in protest against the recent hike in fuel prices.
Meanwhile, speaking on the number of mob lynching cases in the country, MoS Home Nityanand Rai told the Lok Sabha, "No separate data for mob lynching is maintained by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB)."
In the Rajya Sabha, there will be a general discussion on the budget of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

Mahua Moitra Slams Modi, BJP in LS
TMC's Mahua Moitra participated in a discussion on the demands for grants for the Ministry of Civil Aviation, 2022-23, slamming the Narendra Modi government and asking what the purpose of the ministry was.
"The proposal I put forward is that now that this ministry is no longer in the business of running a national airline, why does it even need to be a separate ministry, what is it actually doing?," she questioned.

"American roads are not good because America is rich but America is rich because American roads are good. To make India prosperous, I ensure that before December '24, India's road infrastructure will be like America," said Union Transport and Road Minister Nitin Gadkari in Lok Sabha.
"We've made it mandatory that every car carrying upto 8 passengers should've 6 airbags. Automobile industry complained of increased expenses. But we won't patronise the affluent at the cost of poor consumers' lives," he added.
Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill 2022 Moved in RS
Finance Minister Sitharaman moved the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill, 2022 and the Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2022 in the Rajya Sabha.
