Six exit polls for the Maharashtra Assembly elections – voting for which concluded on Monday, 21 October – have predicted a clear majority for the BJP-Shiv Sena combine.

166-194 Seats for BJP+: India Today-Axis Exit Poll

The India Today-Axis My India exit poll has predicted a comfortable win for the BJP-Shiv Sena combine in the Maharashtra Assembly elections, with BJP+ predicted to get 166-194 seats, Congress+ 72-90 and Others 22-34, in the 288-member Assembly.

243 Seats for BJP-Shiv Sena: News 18-Ipsos Exit Poll

Meanwhile, the CNN News 18-Ipsos exit poll has predicted an even bigger victory for the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition in the state, with 141 seats given to BJP, 102 to Shiv Sena, 17 to Congress and 22 to NCP. One seat will go to the Asaduddin Owaisi-led AIMIM, the exit poll said.

Over 200 Seats for NDA: ABP-CVoter Exit Poll

The ABP-CVoter exit poll (as of 5 pm) has predicted that the NDA will go past the 200-seat mark (BJP 140 and Shiv Sena 70), while the UPA will be restricted to 63 (Congress 31 and NCP 32). Others are predicted to get 15 seats in the state.

The Times Now exit poll has predicted 230 seats for BJP+, 48 for Congress+, and 10 for Others.

216-230 Seats for BJP and Shiv Sena: Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat Exit Poll

The Republic TV-Jan Ki Baat exit poll has said that the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance will bag seats in the range of 216 and 230 in the Maharashtra Assembly elections.

Meanwhile, the Congress and NCP are predicted to get seats in the range of 50 and 59. For others, the Republic TV poll has reserved 8-12 seats.

188-200 Seats for BJP-Shiv Sena: NewsX-Polstrat Exit Poll

The NewsX-Polstrat exit poll for the Maharashtra Assembly elections has predicted 188-200 seats for the BJP-Shiv Sena coalition, and 74-89 seats for the Congress.

  • NCP - 34-39
  • Shiv Sena - 44-50
  • BJP - 144-150
  • Others: 06-10

In 2014, the BJP and Shiv Sena had come together to form the government with a combined total of 185 seats, while the Congress had managed to win just 42 seats and the NCP 41.

The exit polls for the Maharashtra polls were released after voting concluded in the state on Monday, 21 October.

While the BJP is contesting the polls in an alliance with Shiv Sena for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly, the Congress has partnered with the NCP. The counting of votes and the declaration of the final results will take place on 24 October.
