The Election Commission on Thursday, 30 January issued a show cause notice to BJP MP Parvesh Verma for allegedly calling Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal a "terrorist". He has been given time till 5 PM on Friday to respond.

Home Minster Amit Shah, in a rally on Thursday, took a swipe at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, saying that the ground has slipped from beneath his feet, reported ANI.
“Kejriwal ji leave rest of Delhi, go to your New Delhi seat. This time the ground has slipped from beneath your feet. I will tell media colleagues on counting day, focus on that seat and see the result. This time our lotus will bloom there,” he said.
Kejriwal Gets EC Notice for Promising Mohalla Clinics on Court Premises
The Election Commission on Thursday issued a show cause notice to Delhi Chief Minister and AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal for promising Mohalla Clinics on court premises in the city at a time when the model code of conduct is in place.
A BJP leader had approached the Commission alleging that addressing members of the Delhi Bar Association on January 13, Kejriwal had said the government was ready to open mohalla clinics in bars and court premises provided space is allocated.
The Delhi Chief Electoral Office had confirmed that Kejriwal had "made a promise".
The EC said it is of the opinion that Kejriwal has violated the Model Code by making the promise.
He has been asked to respond before 5.00 PM on Friday, 31 January.
