Pop-culture level? Max!
Twitter found itself reminiscing with an 80s and 90s pop culture throwback in this painting that includes popular Indian ad campaigns.
Twitterati took it upon themselves to guess all the 40 ads mentioned in this painting.
How many can you guess?
The tweet, now viral, has 40 famous advertisements, many of which are considered classics and are clearly bringing back memories for 90s kids. The tweet was apparently first shared by a user named Vaibhav Vishal.
Where Did the Painting Come From?
According to a user who commented on the same thread, the painting came from the recently concluded marketing event called ZeeMELT and has been drawn by a team of people named: Sandeep Sawant, Hitesh Shah, Arun Udmale, Subodh and Pavan, from BBDO India.
In what looks like a missed opportunity, the art mentions neither ZeeMELT, nor the creators. Hours after the painting went viral, the official handle (@readytomelt) put it out.
