Brexit Deal Goes Down in Flames But At Least Brits Are Still Funny

The UK plunged into uncertainty again... but thank god, the British still have their sense of humour.

I suppose it’s a step up that UK PM Theresa May’s second Brexit deal was defeated in Parliament by a narrower margin (149) on Tuesday, 12 March, than the whopping (230) margin her first deal was defeated by in January... if you were looking for a silver lining.

This leaves the UK with a few options: the government could vote to delay Brexit (if EU agrees) while they sort out their mess; a general election could be called; a second referendum could be held; or Brexit could be scrapped altogether (though that would be a long legal process). Either way, it doesn’t look like the fiasco will be over anytime soon.
