Parliament is not a photoshoot centre for sure but merely because I have been clicking photos, people are talking about it. Lets take the entire thing positively...
Nusrat Jahan, Member of Parliament as told to India Today

Both Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan won their Lok Sabha seats for the TMC by sizeable margins with May 27 being their first day in Parliament. Day one as Member of Parliament called for at the very least some selfies outside India’s great democratic institution, don’t you think? Yet there was something wrong with their selfies apparently. Though what exactly it was, we are still scratching our heads to find out.

A little reminder...these women actually, canvassed, campaigned and won. In other words they have earned their seat inside Parliament. But in your books it looks like they have not earned their right to choose what to wear on their first day at the new job.

But a sight for sore eyes was the outpouring of proud, congratulatory messages.

Mimi Chakraborty contested from Jadavpur while Nusrat Jahan contested from Basirhat Lok Sabha seat in West Bengal Bengal. Nusrat Jahan won by 3,50,369 votes from Basirhat, while Mimi Chakraborty's margin of victory was 2,95,239 votes.
