Everyday, thousands of people come over here to Sincheal Mandir and offer mother goddesses many things. But unfortunately, their offerings are piled up and kept behind the mandir.
Sincheal Singh Devi Dham is now drowning plastic waste. Everything is wrapped inside plastic and even if you open it there is a plastic coating inside. It’s really sad to see how people just throw the offerings here.
This year, Ghoom-Jorebunglow Degree College, Congress Primary School, Sincheal Mandir Committee,Tiger Hill Self Help Association, OKC Monastery, Teachers and Many other individuals are coming together to help us.
We took the challenge to clean the mandir and make it plastic free.
We collected more than 41 sacks of plastic and 1,401 plastic bottles. Our drive started in the morning around 9 am and went on till 1pm in the afternoon. It felt so good to clean the temple premises.
On World Environment Day, we would urge people to help make a cleaner, pollution free, plastic free world. A better and greener tomorrow for everyone.
