My Sandesh to a Soldier: You Are an Inspiration to All of Us

Respected armed forces of our country,

This Republic Day, I would wholeheartedly like to salute every soldier of our country for safeguarding the frontiers of our motherland, conducting rescue operations during natural calamities with faith and discipline.

Leaving behind family and friends for days and months is hard, but as rightly said, “You are the rock of our motherland,” sustaining harsh, impromptu and abrupt conditions.

You are a role model and an inspiration to everyone in our country. Your self-discipline and determination are admirable.

A peaceful sleep, midnight dream, awakened thoughts are possible to millions, all thanks to you.

I have immense respect for you. I salute the soldiers who are selflessly protecting us from the darkest of times.
