What are we breathing today? As air pollution levels continue to rise across India, we are going to be bringing you the air quality index from across the country.

Across the six metros, Delhi and the NCR region continued to bear the brunt of air pollution with parts of NCR hitting hazardous levels. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium recorded the highest 217 PM 2.5 levels. Mandir Marg was at 192 PM 2.5 levels as of 12 pm.

Across the 6 metros, Chennai recorded unhealthy levels of 170 PM2.5 while Bengaluru breathed a little better at 104.

With crop burning recorded in parts of Punjab and Haryana, a change of weather and Diwali around the corner, are quality is likely to slip further.
