After the Bhartiya Janata Party-led NDA's historic victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi continued to receive congratulatory messages from leaders across the globe for returning to power.
Sweeping the 2019 polls, the NDA secured over 350 seats with the BJP alone bagging 303 seats.
This was also a historic moment in Indian politics as PM Modi became the first non-Congress prime minister to get re-elected with a stronger majority.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hindi and said, “Congratulations to my dear friend Narendra Modi, for such great results. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe congratulated Narendra Modi via telephonic conversation, according to ANI.

Vladimir Putin has sent a congratulatory telegram to Narendra Modi, congratulating him for his “convincing victory”.

British PM Theresa May congratulated the Prime Minister on the strong mandate.
"Describing the general elections as a major showcase for democracy, May complimented the people of India on completion of the significant exercise. Modi thanked her and expressed his desire to continue to work for further deepening bilateral cooperation with the United Kingdom in all spheres," an official statement said.
25. German Chancellor Angela Merkel
Congratulating Modi, German Chancellor Angela Merkel noted the growing relationship between the two countries and expressed her desire to further enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interests.
