Yogi Issued Censure by EC Over 'Modi ki Sena' Remark

EC issues censure to Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath over his 'Modi ki Sena' remark. The Commission has advised him to be more careful in future, being a senior political leader.

Censure by EC is to express disapproval of someone or something in a formal statement.

EC Orders Transfer of 4 Officers in WB for Poll Preparedness

The Election Commission has orders transfer of 4 Officers in West Bengal citing Poll preparedness. The four officers transferred are Dr Rajesh Kumar, Natarajan Ramesh Babu, Avannu Ravindranath DC and Srihari Pandey.

EC has said that the direction should be implemented with immediate effect and has also sought a compliance report within 24 hours of joining of officers.
