‘Respect PM, but He Must Speak up’, Raghu Rai on Award-Wapsi

Legendary photographer Raghu Rai joins the award-wapasi debate wants PM to speak up and hear out country’s concerns.

Legendary photographer Raghu Rai has joined the award-wapsi debate saying that he respects Prime Minister Modi, but would want him to speak up and hear out the concerns of the nation.

Speaking to The Quint, he said;

If the country’s artists and writers are upset about something, it’s high time Modi, the man who made such a wonderful speech, comes up and invites these artists and writers and sits and discusses the issue with them, rather than calling it a manufactured dissent.

Raghu Rai completed 50 years as a photographer this year.
