PM Modi made a big splash on his maiden visit to the US back in 2014 – and it had to be big, because the trip came after the US had to shamefacedly withdraw their objection to Modi's visa for his alleged involvement in the Godhra riots of 2012, after he won a mammoth victory. That, and the India-US relationship was gathering steam.
Five years later, Pakistan PM Imran Khan sought to make a big splash in the US too... but for a totally different reason. Pakistan is in big financial trouble, and is seeking US assistance to get out of it. Since Khan is after the moolah, he's trying not to spend it, even catching a commercial flight to the US instead of springing for a private jet.
So, how did the rallies of the two 'rival' Prime Ministers stack up? Watch the video.
