The Maharashtra government declared 7 November 2017 as the first ‘Student’s Day’ in the state. This is the day BR Ambedkar joined Satara’s Pratap Singh High School.

With the aim to encourage kids from all economic and social backgrounds to study, Ambedkar’s school is trying to share stories from his childhood.

Students of the school talk about how they feel proud to be in the same school as Ambedkar.
