As the Israel-Palestine war enters its 18th day, the death toll and casualty count continue to rise. Half of those killed are children, with the figure reaching 2,360 out of the total tally of 5,971 (according to the Palestinian Health Ministry).

According to Palestinian Central Bureau Statistics, as of 2022, half of Gaza's population is under the age of 18.

Gazan children are looking at a bleak future. They are out of school, out of their homes, living in shelters, many severely injured by the air strikes, seeing their family members die, orphaned by the war - the outcome is traumatic for those who survive and grow up with this history and suffering.

Ashraf Qudra, spokesperson of Palestinian Health Ministry notified that the number of injured has risen to 15,273.

As a result of Israel's continuous bombardment of Gaza strip from the north to south, over 42% of housing units have been destroyed - rendering almost a million Palestinians homeless.

On 24th October 2023, Israel Defence Forces said that they have struck over 400 terrorist targets in the last 24 hours, killing 704 Palestinians.

Limited Aid Reached Gaza; No Fuel leads to Water Shortage and Hospitals Running Out of Service

On 22nd October, second convoy of 17 trucks with aid entered Gaza.

Israel has insisted that the relief material will not include fuel, which is required to pump water supply and generate power for hospitals.

As the world erupts in demand for ceasefire, Palestinians casualties are turning into numbers while Israel continue to bombard Gaza.
