Google has listed a launch stream link on YouTube for 15 October, which most likely will be for the Pixel 4 smartphone series.

The search giant hasn’t shared its official media invite yet, but this live-stream schedule with the tag ‘MadebyGoogle’ could only mean one thing. The listing also puts the live-stream timing at 7:30 pm on 15 October, which is less than a month from now.

To everyone’s surprise, the company itself teased the next flagship phone, putting an end to all the speculation and reports doing the rounds on the next generation of Pixel devices.

For those who haven’t seen the leaks, the front design has bezels at the top of the phone, which means Google has yet again decided to play it safe and traditional.

This is likely to have been done to offer dual front-facing cameras, without going for the notch, we saw with the Pixel 3XL in 2018.

Another thing that is to be noticed is that there is no rear fingerprint sensor on the back panel – is Google finally bringing face unlock? Or in-display fingerprint? Or even a side-placed fingerprint sensor? It remains to be seen.

Another leak on Google's upcoming Pixel 4 and 4XL smartphones has suggested that the devices could include a super smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate and 6GB RAM. The phones are likely to pack a 5.7-inch Full HD+ and a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ panel respectively.

In terms of hardware, the Pixel 4 series will most likely be offered with a Snapdragon 855 processor, and storage up to 256 GB. But the one good thing we spotted from the Pixel 4 leaks is the addition of dual rear cameras, which means the series will get four cameras in total.

We can’t wait to see what else Google will offer with the Pixel 4 series and if there will be more products announced at the event. Stay tuned for all the updates.
