Indian opener Rohit Sharma completed his 24th ODI century off 85 balls against Pakistan in Manchester on Sunday, 16 June. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bowl, probably hoping to benefit from the continuous rain that had happened in Manchester.
Rohit looked in good touch right from the start of his innings. He added 136-runs for the first wicket with KL Rahul (57). In between he played some crisp shorts to get into his groove.
Twitter users congratulated Rohit Sharma on scoring yet another World Cup century, his second of this edition so far after he scored his first against South Africa in India’s World Cup campaign opener.

With the kind of start India has got and with still enough overs left, India are well on course to post a score close to 350.
