At the end of six overs, India are 42/2.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: India Need 162 To Win

Back in cricket, Australia have scored 161/8 in their 20 overs in the ongoing gold medal match against India.

Both teams can be fairly satisfied with the total. From India’s perspective, they did well to concede less 40 runs in the last five overs, while the Aussies can find a positive in Rachael Haynes’ cameo of 18 runs from 10 deliveries, which helped them cross the 160-run mark.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: Saurav-Dipika Win Bronze

Saurav Ghosal and Dipika Pallikal have won India's 50th medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022!

The cricket final between India and Australia is proving to be a roller-coaster affair for both sides.

After India got themselves back in the back with two quick wickets, Australia took charge once again, thanks to Ashleigh Gardner’s cameo of 25 runs from 15 deliveries. It once seemed that Australia could reach the 170-run mark, but the Indians have bounced back again.

In his ongoing match against Paul Drinkhall, the 40-year-old from Chennai is currently enjoying a 3-1 lead.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: One Wicket Brings Another

At 83/1, it seemed Australia had taken complete control of the ongoing gold medal match. However, Harmanpreet Kaur’s team has managed to turn things around.

An over after Beth Mooney’s dismissal, Deepti Sharma managed to dismiss Tahlia McGrath, with Radha Yadav’s fielding helping the women in blue once again. McGrath went for a big hit off the spinner’s bowling, but could only find Radha at the backward point.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: Mooney Departs After Building Foundation

After losing Alyssa Healy early, Beth Mooney and skipper Meg Lanning built a solid second-wicket partnership for the Aussies. From 22/1 at the end of four overs, they managed to take the score to 83/1 after 10 overs.

However, the partnership has finally been broken, courtesy of a brilliant piece of fielding by Radha Yadav. Mooney departs for 36, but she certainly has built a solid foundation for the Aussies as they are 87/2 after 11 overs.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: Sharath Kamal in TT Semi-finals

Besides cricket, table tennis action is also currently underway.

Sharath Kamal Achanta, who won a silver medal in the men's doubles category alongside his partner Sathiyan Gnanasekaran earlier in the day, is now playing in the semi-final fixture of men's singles category.

The eleven-time Commonwealth Games medallist is up against England's Paul Drinkhall.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: Renuka Strikes Early Again

Pacer Renuka Singh, who scalped four wickets in the group stage fixture against Australia, has struck early with the ball once again in this all-important gold medal match. Trying a play a shot across the line, opening batter Alyssa Healy could not get any connection on the ball that crashed onto her pads, trapping her leg before wicket.

It has been a positive start for Harmanpreet Kaur’s team so far. At the end of four overs, the Aussies are 22/1.

Commonwealth Games Day 10 Live: India to Bowl First

Australia have won the toss, and quite unsurprisingly, skipper Meg Lanning has asked Harmanpreet Kaur's team to bowl first.
