Islamic State leader Abu Bakar al Baghdadi was killed in 2015...then he died again in 2016, and again in 2017, and then he came back all over again. Or at least it looks like he survived all those times he was supposed to be dead.

This edition of The Big Story is about the new ISIS video that just got released show Baghdadi.

Here’s what we know about Abu Bakar al Baghdadi and the video that surfaced on the internet:

Baghdadi was last seen in a propaganda video five years back in 2014, when he proclaimed the creation of a ‘caliphate’ from Mosul. He’s said to have been killed many times since — the last time he was supposed to be dead was in an airstrike in 2017 and his death was confirmed by the Russian Defense Ministry, until suddenly this video came out of nowhere.

Does that mean the ISIS is trying to make a comeback? Tune in!
