Tamil Actor Sangeetha Held for Allegedly Running Prostitution Ring

- Well-known Tamil TV actor Sangeetha Balan was arrested on Monday, 4 June, for allegedly running a prostitution racket at a resort in Chennai, ANI reported.
- Balan’s accomplice named Satish has also reportedly been arrested. The two were sent to jail after being produced in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Egmore, ANI reported.
- The two have been accused of luring young girls with the promise of lucrative jobs and a chance to feature in films and TV shows, the report added.
