A Sikkim police officer killed three of his colleagues after shooting at them on Monday, 18 July, at a water plant in Delhi. They allegedly had made "untoward" comments about his wife, say officials.
The incident took place at Haiderpur area of the national capital.
The three deceased personnel were Commander Pinto Namgyal Bhutia, and constables Indra Lal Chhetri and Dhanhang Subba.
A senior official indicated that the Delhi Police received a PCR call at the KNK Marg police station at around 3 pm.
In a statement during the initial investigation, the accused told the police that the colleagues had caused him mental harassment by saying offensive things about his wife.
