Amid chanting of patriotic slogans, people from different walks of life bid an emotional farewell to the bravehearts who lost their lives in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday, 14 February, a suicide bomber rammed a car laden with over 350 kg explosives into a CRPF bus, which was part of a convoy of 78 vehicles carrying paramilitary soldiers from Jammu to Srinagar. At least 40 jawans were killed in the Pulwama attack that has been claimed by terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad.
A large number of people gathered to pay their respects to the martyrs while family members bid emotional goodbyes.
