Addressing the nation via his radio programme ‘Mann ki Baat-Chai Ke Saath’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about Constitution Day and honoured the victims of the 26/11 terror attacks. He also expressed concern over global warming and said he is also focusing on improving accessibility in the country.
After PM Modi spoke about the upcoming Armed Forces Flag Day on 7 December in his radio show ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Smriti Irani who was attending the event at Jungadh announced that she will be contributing one month of her salary’s worth in the Amry Welfare Fund.
Earlier today, Jaitley had tweeted: “On 26/11/2008 terrorists attacked many places in Mumbai and showed their deplorable cowardice. Let us stand against terrorism and pay tribute to our brave security personnel who sacrificed their lives for our security. We pray for all those who lost their lives in this attack.”

PM Modi suggests starting the year by sharing positive thoughts under the #PositiveIndia hashtag. “Then, you see, what fantastic positives vibes we’ll create,” he says. He assures he will read out some of these thoughts in his next edition on ‘Mann Ki Baat’.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 38th radio has begun. He begins his programme by speaking about Karnataka kids who had written to him about various issues. He moves into the significance of today’s date when in 1949, the Constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly. PM Modi says the Constitution is the soul of India’s democracy. He also remembered Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar on this occasion.
Security is being tightened before the 'Mann Ki Baat – Chai Ke Saath’ program begins. MP Paresh Rawal will be attending the the event in Rajkot. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal will tune in from Porbandar, while the Information and Broadcast Minister Smriti Irani will be heading to Junagadh. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will sip tea with people at Mora village in Panchmahals.
After the program, party leaders will address huge public gatherings set up by BJP at various places across Gujarat.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will address the nation through his monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at 11 am. On 17 November, he tweeted and urged people to share their inputs with him on what to discuss in the show on the Narendra Modi Mobile Application.
The PM’s address will also mark the beginning of BJP’s campaign in Gujarat. Recently, after the Youth Congress tweeted a meme mocking Modi over his tea-seller origins, state BJP-in-charge, Bhupender Yadav announced an event ‘Mann Ki Baat-Chai Ke Saath’ wherein almost 200 party leaders will tune into today’s radio show while having a hot cup of tea with people across Gujarat.
The programme will be broadcast on All India Radio (AIR), Doordarshan and also on the Narendra Modi mobile application. Akashwani will broadcast the programme in regional languages immediately after the Hindi broadcast. The show can also be heard via a Live Youtube stream on Modi’s Youtube account.
