Delhi's NDMC Medical College and Hindu Rao Hospital doctors will go on mass casual leave on Friday, the Resident Doctors Association said. This will be followed by a complete indefinite strike from 22 March, in the wake of non-payment of salaries and arrears to resident doctors and DNB trainees.

The Philippines has approved Russia’s Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use, the country’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said on Friday, as the Southeast Asian country battles a renewed surge in infections.
The vaccine, developed by Russia’s Gamaleya Institute, is the fourth to get emergency use authorisation in the Philippines.

Delhi on Friday reported 716 new coronavirus cases, taking the tally in the national capital to 6,46,348. The death toll increased by four to 10,953.
A lockdown will be imposed every Sunday till further orders in Madhya Pradesh's Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. Essential services will be exempted, while schools and colleges in the three cities will remain shut till 31 March.
