A Noida-based YouTuber allegedly raped a woman, said police. According to police, the accused also allegedly blackmailed her for Rs 2 lakh using a video he made of her.
The girl’s parents approached police Tuesday evening to lodge a complaint against the accused, whose YouTube channel has over 2 lakh subscribers.

In a petition to the police, he has alleged that a group of men have been abusing, video-recording and blackmailing over 20 women in the town. The Karnal SP has suspended sub-inspector Krishan Kumar and head constables Bijender Singh and Krishan, who were posted at Madhuban police station.

A man brutally assaulted his wife at the Government General Hospital in Chittoor on Sunday allegedly for refusing to have sex with him. The 34-year-old woman, who is an unconscious state, is being treated in the ICU in the same hospital. Doctors have said that her condition is still critical.
Chittoor Town SI Purushottam Reddy, who has been handling the case, said that the husband was taken into custody on Monday evening. “By the time I reached the hospital on Monday morning around 8:30am, she was already being treated. The sanitation supervisors and security guards of the hospital had attended to her and taken her to ICU,” said Reddy.

A fire broke out at a shopping centre on the busy and congested Abdul Rehman Street in South Mumbai on Monday, a fire brigade official said.
Around four to five shops inside the Super Shopping Centre, located near Jumma Masjid, were gutted in the blaze, which reportedly broke out following a short circuit in an air conditioner in one of the shops. No casualties were reported.

The police on Monday night arrested a 22-year-old man for allegedly molesting a class 9 student in Gurugram’s Sector 14.
Earlier in the day, the girl’s mother had filed a police complaint alleging that the man, who lived in their neighbourhood, had molested her daughter and used to follow her when she went to school or coaching classes. The police said the girl had warned off the accused several times.

Two workers died in Greater Noida on Tuesday after they allegedly fell off the scaffolding at a construction site of a private building, the police said.
The incident took place in the afternoon when the workers fell off the 13th floor-level scaffolding of the housing society by the ATS group in Sector 150, the police said.

A policeman was killed and 15 others – 10 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers and five members of the poll staff – were injured in two accidents on Tuesday in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district.
Police said a bus carrying poll staff met with an accident in Zalangam village of Kokernag area, resulting in the death of a policeman and injuries to five others travelling in the bus.
