DU Admissions 2018: Important Dates to Keep in Mind While Applying

DU Admissions 2018: This year, the registration process will be completely online for all categories and all quotas.

The University of Delhi opened registration for its various undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD and MPhil courses, for the academic year 2018-2019 on 15 May.

According to a press release posted on its website, Delhi University said that this year, the registration process will be conducted online for all categories and for all quotas.

It added that the details related to the registration process for the respective courses, will be available on the ‘Bulletin of Information,’ which will also be accessible online as a downloadable form.

Following are the respective dates for the commencement of online registration for different programmes:

  • Undergraduate programmes: 15 May 2018
  • Postgraduate programmes: 18 May 2018
  • Postgraduate diploma in cyber-security and law: 18 May 2018
  • M.Phil/PhD programmes: 20 May 2018

In April, DU had announced that it would add new features to its online form for 2018-19 admissions, which included providing a single portal for applications for both merit-based and entrance-based entry into undergraduate courses.

The varsity will hold 'Open Day' sessions between 21 May and 29 May (except Sunday) at Conference Centre near Gate number 4 on North Campus, reported PTI.

“Open Days will have two sessions – 10 am to 11.30 am and 12 pm to 1.30 pm. On these days, information about registration, admission process, schedule and other related information would be provided,” the statement said.

Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) president Rocky Tuseed has also said that the union would set up a centre on North Campus to help aspirants in the registration process.
