The Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line developed a technical snag on the morning of Tuesday, 21 May, causing tremendous inconvenience to passengers. Train movement had been suspended between the Qutab Minar and Sultanpur stations.
The snag resulted in dozens of people being stranded at the Qutub Minar station.
The Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro runs between Samaypur Badli to Huda City Centre, and is the lifeline for the many a busy officer-goer.
The Delhi Metro Rain Corporation has now tweeted saying that the train services have resumed and requested people to keep in mind the need for extra time while travelling.
Meanwhile, a lot of the stranded passengers have taken to Twitter to express their anger and frustration. While some commuters have tagged the Delhi Metro’s official handle, asking for help, others have warned people to avoid the Yellow Line.
The halt has forced several metro commuters to use other means of travel.
