The valour and sacrifice of military and paramilitary personnel killed in action may soon be made part of the school curriculum in Rajasthan from the next academic session, with state Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra saying that the government wants a chapter on the CRPF jawans who were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack to be added in the textbooks.

“We have recommended it to the committee set up to review books and have said that it is the government’s wish that material related to the martyrs of Pulwama along with stories praising them, whether they can be included in textbook course. The committee will take a decision on it. (sic)”
