Floods have ravaged the state of Assam, submerging 32 of the state’s 33 districts and killing at least 17 people. Your help can go a long way to support the disaster-stricken state.

You can donate to the Assam Chief Minister's Relief Fund through a cheque or a demand draft to help those afflicted by the floods. Here are the account details:

Sprinter Hima Das, who hails from the state of Assam, has pledged half of her monthly salary for relief work after requesting big corporates and individuals to come forward and help the state.

Actor Akshay Kumar has also pledged Rs 1 crore each to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund and towards the Kaziranga National Park rescue, urging others to contribute as well.
