After its rather embarrassing Photoshop stunt, the Press Information Bureau has now apologised for the “inconvenience caused”.
If you haven’t seen it already, we’re talking about the picture of the Prime Minister’s aerial tour that has a little creative input from the PIB.
But read closely and this is what it says, “Out of the seven pictures released, one picture used the technique of merging two pictures. This is being referred to as “Photoshopping” in sections of media”.
Okay. PIB did the crime (so to speak), it had to do the time. But what’s with disowning Photoshop?
PIB got trolled ever since it tweeted the photograph. On Friday, the bureau issued a clarification.
