TNPSC Group 4 2019 Exam Notification

It is expected that the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will release the official notification for the group 4 services examination this month. According to the the commission’s annual exam calendar, released in December 2018, TNPSC will release the official notification this month.

TNPSC is a separate department of the Tamil Nadu Government which is responsible for governing the recruitment process for state public services.

It is expected that nearly 20 lakh candidates will apply for the TNPSC Group 4 2019  examination this year. Visit the official website http://www.tnpsc.gov.in/ for more details.

The Combined Civil Services examination is conducted for the selection of group 4 posts in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service, Tamil Nadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service and Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service. These posts include-

  • Village Administrative Officer (VAO),
  • Junior Assistant,
  • Field Surveyor, etc.

On the basis of the notification released in 2017, it is required that the candidates at least passed Class 10 and Class 12 for the TNPSC group 4 jobs.

As per the reports, the announcement by TNPSC Group 4 will be made available online from 14 June to 14 July 2019. The eligibility criteria for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission's (TNPSC) Group 4 examination including the age, education and reservation will also be announced from 14 June to 14 July. The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in the examination.

The exam paper will be of 200 marks in total. 100 are allocated for the regional language test while 75 marks are allocated for Science and Social Sciences subjects. The remaining 25 marks are for 25 questions in the non-efficient area.
