The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will soon declare the results for the second stage computer-based examination to recruit junior engineers all across the country. The result will be out on the zonal website at rrbcdg.gov.in. The final answer key for the exam was released on 10 October and was accessible till 12 October 2019. The minimum qualification marks for different categories are:
General Category: 40 Percent
Other Backward Class (OBC): 30 Percent
Scheduled Caste (SC): 30 Percent
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 25 Percent
In RRB JE CBT Stage 2 exam the railway board is working out to provide jobs for 13,000 posts which include posts like junior engineer (JE), junior engineer (information technology), Depot material superintendent (DMS) and chemical and metallurgical assistant (CMA) in Indian Railways.
Railway Recruitment Board was initially known as Railway Service Commission till January 1985, after which it was renamed as Railway Recruitment Board. Railway Recruitment Board started its working in the year 1983 from Chandigarh.
