Maharashtra Board HSC Result 2019 Declared; About 85.88% Passed

MSBSHSE or the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education announced the results of Class 12 HSC examination on Tuesday, 28 May 2019. The Maharashtra Board HSC 12th examinations were conducted from 21 February and 20 March this year.

About 85.88% students have passed the Class 12 HSC examination. The students will be able to check their results around 1 pm on the official website. The students who appeared for the examination can check their results on the official website of MSBSHSE at https://mahahsscboard.maharashtra.gov.in/.

More than 14 lakh students registered for the HSC examinations this year. The board had appointed nearly 30,000 teachers as invigilators and to participate in the evaluation process.

Candidates can get hard copies of their results, along with their certificates, at their respective schools and institutes.

  • Visit the official website mahresult.nic.in.
  • Click on "HSC Examination Result 2019".
  • You will be redirected to a new page, where you will have to enter details like your roll number and your mother's first name.
  • Click on "view result".
  • You will be able to see your scores now.
  • Save your results and take a print out for future reference.

Last year about 14.16 lakh students got their results and this year 14.19 lakh students registered for the Class 12 exam.

89.41 percent students had cleared the SSC examination in 2018, whereas for HSC the passing percent was 88.41 percent.

Since 2014, when the Maharashtra Board in 2014 made changes in the pass percentage of students of HSC and SSC exams the aggregate marks to be considered as pass are 35 percent but the minimum marks needed in theory exam is lowered to 20 percent.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducts the Maharashtra HSC Class 12 examination every year. There are nine divisions in the board which are primarily located at Pune, Mumbai, Nasik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Nagpur, Latur, Amravati and Ratnagiri.
