Sensex Falls 229 Points to 36,464 in Opening Session

June WPI Inflation at -1.81 Percent
The annual rate of inflation, based on monthly Wholesale Price Index (WPI), stood at -1.81 percent (provisional) for the month of June 2020 (over June 2019) as compared to 2.02 percent during the corresponding month of the previous year, the Centre said on Tuesday.
This is against a 3.21 percent drop witnessed in May.
