Counting is in full-swing in the Karnataka Assembly elections 2018. Trends show the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the incumbent Congress in most seats. The Janata Dal (Secular), touted to be the ‘kingmaker’, is a close third and may have an important role to play if the results lead to a hung Assembly.
Although, presently it seems that the BJP is on its way to a comfortable majority on its own.
