The Coachella music festival held every year in the namesake Coachella valley of  California is frequented by celebrities like Katy Perry, Justin Beiber, Selena Gomez, and even AC/DC.

But other than the famous faces, it is what is ON the faces that has been creating the buzz – it’s the bindi. Accompanied by chic ethnic accessories like maangtikkas and Indian prints. Sample these pictures.

Even last year, celebrities Vanessa Hudgens and Selena Gomez wore bindis at the Coachella Music festival. However, they were criticised for doing so, and accused of cultural appropriation.
