Have you seen the overly-hyped ‘non political and free-wheeling’ chat between Akshay Kumar and PM Narendra Modi? You must have.

Mainstream media wouldn’t have let you ignore it what with them airing snippets of it all day long with headlines like ‘Does PM Modi love Mangoes?’

Now watch this parody of the same interview, that ironically doesn’t sound much different from the real deal.

Comedian Shyam Rangeela, known for his mimicry of Modi, teamed up with Vikalp Mehta to remake the (in)famous interview of PM Modi by Akshay Kumar.

But where necessary, the parody has differed vastly from the original.

To begin with, the parody unabashedly admits that nothing about this so called ‘interview’ was candid — questions were discussed and altered according to how the interviewee preferred it, multiple cameras were set to capture the two from every angle possible, and ofcourse any political reference was edited out.

Err, we mean in the parody, of course.
