‘Blind’ Justice in Pehlu Khan Case Is ‘Kaafi Real’

An Alwar court acquitted all six accused in the Pehlu Khan lynching case on the grounds of “benefit of doubt”.

More than two years after his death, the Alwar district court on 14 August acquitted all six accused in the Pehlu Khan lynching case on the grounds of “benefit of doubt”.

While a video clip surfaced on social media showing Khan (55) and his two sons being beaten up by a group of men, it was not admissible as evidence.

Khan was transporting cows from Jaipur when they were allegedly stopped and thrashed by a mob near Behror in Alwar district on 1 April 2017.
