The perception of the Indian village woman is not always favourable in comparison to her urban counterpart. But according to a Lokniti-CSDS-The Quint survey, as a part of the ‘Me, the Change’ campaign, the Indian village woman wants to work more, study more and is willing to change cities for love – in a higher percentage than Indian women in cities and towns.

The survey looks at the wants and aspirations of 5,000 first-time women voters in the country, with regard to aspects of life such as education, health, career and personal freedom.
