Monsoon is a perfect time to get cozy and enjoy the comfort of your home. However, that cannot be possible every day. We do have to go outside and carry on with our daily lives. We also have to deal with wet clothes, wet shoes, frizzy hair and countless other issues on a daily basis.

Here are some hacks to make your life easier during monsoon:

Protect Your Smartphone

While dancing in the rain is fun, water can be damaging for your smartphone and other expensive electronic devices. Thus, keeping a ziplock waterproof bag would really come in handy. You can also buy one of those cute, trendy waterproof pouches and turn your style game on!

Wet Shoes ? Try This

It’s an extremely common scenario that your shoes get drenched in the rain. You can’t wear wet shoes, which are likely to cause infections, but drying them up isn’t an easy task without the sunlight. What do you do then?

It’s quite simple actually. Take some old newspapers and generously stuff them inside your shoes. The paper will absorb water quickly making your life easier. You can also change the papers after sometime.

Wet Clothes

During monsoon, there can be days with continuous rain and no hint of sunlight. Drying up clothes becomes a real problem in such conditions.

Using an iron can be of great help. You simply need to iron your clothes; the heat will evaporate the moisture and wouldn’t have to wear wet, stinky clothes.

Sandals or Flip Flops

Avoid wearing any footwear that is slippery. Also, avoid wearing your stylish heels and leather shoes to prevent them from being spoiled. It is best to wear some comfortable sandals, flip flops with a firm grip during monsoon.

It is also important to keep your feet dry. So avoid wearing footwear of any material that absorbs and retains water.

Frizzy Hair

It is very common for our hair to get frizzy during the monsoon. An easy way to make them smooth, shiny and glossy again is to use some mayonnaise.

Yes, that’s right. Just apply some mayonnaise on your hair, blow-dry it and wash it off after about half an hour. This DIY hair treatment will really leave you amazed!
