There's plenty to look forward to with all the teams looking to finalise their squads.

Charu Sharma will be the Auctioneer for Day 2.

Aiden Markram Starts The Day

Set 12 starts the day and it's Sourav Ganguly picking the players. And he's picked Markram first.

Rs 1 crore is the South African's base price and Punjab Kings open the bidding for the day. A little silence but Hyderabad then enter the bid as it stands at Rs 1.60 crore. Punjab continue the bidding, but at Rs 2.6 crore, Hyderabad buy their first player of the day.

Rahane Bagged by KKR

The former Indian Test vice-captain has his base price set at Rs 1 crore and he's bagged by KKR with no one else entering the bid.

Interestingly, Rahane has been a captain and Rajasthan and also at the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant in the past.

Mandeep Singh Goes to Delhi

The former Kings XI Punjab player with 105 IPL caps started at his base price of Rs 50 lakh, and he sees interest from Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants.

It's Delhi that manage to add him to his line-up for Rs 1.10 crore.

English limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan, Australian T20 World Cup-winning captain Aaron Finch and Marnus Labuschange have all gone unsold. Morgan in fact was the KKR captain for the last couple of seasons.

Livingstone Starts First Bidding War on Day 2

His base price is Rs 1 crore and the English 28-year-old has Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings outbidding each other.

The bid moves to Rs 10 crore, between the two teams and that's where it stands for a bit before Sunrisers Hyderabad join and make it Rs 10.25 crore. Punjab upps it to Rs 10.50 crore but SRH have a rebuttal again.

The bid stands with Punjab at Rs 11.50 crore and Hyderabad make a few phone calls before pulling out.

Liam Livingstone goes to Punjab for Rs 11.50 crore!

Dominic Drakes Joins Gujarat

Gujarat Titans bag West Indian 24-year-old Dominic Drakes for Rs 1.10 crore, from his base price of Rs 75 lakh.

He's played 3 T20Is for West Indies and was part of the CSK franchise in the past but has not made his IPL debut yet.

Vijay Shankar to Gujarat

Vijay Shankar had set his base price at Rs 50 lakh and while his bid was slow to get off the blocks, Gujarat and Chennai bid for the player and it's Gujarat who bag him for Rs 1.4 crore

Odean Smith Bags 6 Crore Contract

The 25-year-old West Indian all-rounder has his base price at Rs 1 crore and there's interest from Hyderabad, Punjab and Rajasthan for Odean Smith.

Smith's good showing with the bat and ball in the recently-concluded ODIs against India clearly seems to have made its mark.

Punjab and Hyderabad have 17 crore left while Rajasthan have just over 12 crore in their auction purse so this may just be the last of the big buys for either of the three.

It's Punjab that bag him for Rs 6 crore!

SRH Trumps Mumbai For Marco Jansen

Mumbai show their commitment for Marco with Aakash Ambani holding his bidding paddle up even before the bid starts.

The South African 21-year-old played 2 matches for Mumbai last season and the bidding moves between Mumbai, Rajasthan and Hyderabad.

It holds briefly at 4 crore but Mumbai bid the amount. However, Hyderabad have a quick rebuttal and this time, Mumbai don't return with a reply.

14 matches for Rajasthan Royals and the 24-year-old bowler has the franchise bidding for him today as well.

RR Pick Saini For Rs 2.6 Crore

Navdeep Saini comes right after and his base price is Rs 75 lakh. The former RCB pacer has Lucknow open the bidding and then it's Rajasthan and Mumbai who take it forward.

This time though, RR manage to close it. Saini bought for Rs 2.6 crore.

Chawla, Ish, Karn Go Unsold

After Set 18 is when the accelerated auction starts and teams submit lists of players they may bid on, along with the ones they'd like back from the unsold list.

Teams Wrap For Lunch

Punjab indicate they want to make it 45 but Delhi immediately lift their paddle for Rs 50 lakh. And that ends up being the winning bid.

N Tilak Verma

19-year-old all-rounder N Tilak Verma attracts a lot of interest. From his base price of Rs 20 lakh, Hyderabad, Rajasthan, Chennai and Mumbai all have their paddles up for the young man.

Mumbai, with their big remaining purse, bag him for Rs 1.7 crore.

RR Don't Get Lomror

11 matches for RR so far and Mahipal Lomror has his former team bidding for him. His base price was Rs 40 lakh and it goes up to Rs 95 lakh but it's RCB's bid as they now acquire the services of the all-rounder.

Punjab Bag Raj Angad Bawa

He's the second-last player in this set and Raj Bawa has Mumbai and Hyderabad bidding for him.

From his base price of Rs 20 lakh, it goes up to Rs 1 crore from SRH.

Mumbai immediately raise it to Rs 1.10 crore, which SRH match again. Mumbai are quick to raise the paddle and it stretches to Rs 1.50 crore for Mumbai.

But then, we have Punjab Kings enter the bid and they stretch it to Rs 2 crore where the bidding stands for a bit. And that's also the final bid. Ness Wadia looks pumped with this buy!

From his base price of Rs 75 lakh, the West Indian 28-year-old has Chennai, Lucknow and Delhi all bidding for him.

The batter is bagged by Delhi eventually as he goes for Rs 2.8 crore.

Jofra Archer Bags Contract!

Interesting one this. Archer has all but declared that he will not be playing this season as he's recovering from an injury and he's only put his name so he can play the next few seasons.

Still, from his base price of Rs 2 crore, Mumbai Indians have bagged him for Rs 8 crore after fighting off the bids from Hyderabad and Rajasthan.
