Shimla, May 23 (IANS) The hills of Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday continued to experience warm weather with the state's Una town recording a high of 43 degrees Celsius, a Met official said here.
"Temperatures increased due to the ongoing dry weather. Heat wave conditions are prevailing in Una, Sirmaur, Hamirpur and Bilaspur districts and parts of Mandi district and will continue to prevail till Friday," an official of the meteorological office told IANS.
The state capital recorded a high of 28.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees above the average for this time of the year.
Dharamsala recorded 32.8 degrees Celsius, while it was 39.3 degrees in Hamirpur town, 38.5 degrees in Chamba town, 36.6 degrees in Nahan town and 23 degrees in Kalpa in Kinnaur district.
