‘Bigg Boss’ Telugu 3: Nagarjuna Shoots Premiere Amidst Controversy
The show will premiere amidst criminal charges filed by Shwetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta.

Amidst controversies, Bigg Boss Telugu season 3’s host, Nagarjuna Akkineni, shot the premiere episode of the show in Hyderabad on Friday, 19 July. This was followed by the shooting of the dance performances for the opening.
The show has been riddled with controversies ever since TV anchors Shwetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta filed a complaint against the show organisers for demanding sexual favours in exchange for their Bigg Boss entry.
Earlier today, students from Osmania University were taken into police custody for staging a protest at actor Akkineni Nagarjuna’s residence at Jubilee Hills, demanding a ban on Bigg Boss Telugu season 3.
Police security at Nagarjuna’s house had been tightened in fear of possible protests against the actor following the police complaint filed by Shwetha Reddy and Gayatri Gupta against the show’s makers.
There were also rumours that the season 3 premiere would be pushed forward amidst all the controversy.
The rumoured list of contestants for season 3 of the show includes actors Sreemukhi, Hema, Teenmaar Savitri, Varun Sandesh, Himaja, Ali Reza, Rohini, Ravikrishna, singer Rahul Sipligunj and journalist Jaffar, among others.
