Salman, Mohanlal, Mahesh Babu Unveil Rajinikanth’s ‘Darbar’ Poster

The makers of Rajinikanth’s next Darbar, released the first motion poster of the film on Thursday and it shows the Thalaiva oozing swag as a police officer. The 41-seconds motion poster was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam by different celebrities.

Salman Khan released the Hindi motion poster on twitter and wrote, “Best wishes to not just a superstar.. The only superstar! Rajni garu in full motion #DarbarMotionPoster #DARBAR @rajinikanth #Nayanthara @SunielVShetty @santoshsivan #DarbarThiruvizha”

Releasing the poster in Telugu, Mahesh Babu tweeted, “Extremely happy to present the Telugu motion poster of @rajinikanth sir's #Darbar. Love & respect always! Best wishes to @ARMurugadoss sir & the entire team #DarbarMotionPoster.”

Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to unveil the poster in Tamil.

The Malayalam version of the same was released by Mohanlal.

Darbar will be Suniel Shetty’s Tamil film debut and also stars Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Prateik Babbar and Dalip Tahil. It has been bankrolled by Lyca Productions, which also backed Rajinikanth’s 2018 film 2.0.

The second poster of Rajinikanth-starrer Darbar was unveiled in September, by Lyca Productions. The actor is seen flexing his muscles in the new poster which was released on Wednesday.

Director A R Murugadoss also shared the poster and wrote, “Younger, smarter, wiser, tougher... Thalaivar in a never seen before Avatar.”

The film, which sees Rajinikanth and Murugadoss collaborate for the first time will have the 68-year-old actor playing a police officer in a movie for the first time in 25 years after Pandiyan (1992). In July this year, the director had revealed Rajinikanth’s look from the film in a few stills.
