Bollywood actor Randeep Hooda joined the list of celebrities doing their part to help people during the COVID crisis. In a recent video he shared on Instagram, Hooda urged everyone to donate for oxygen concentrators. Through multiple placards, he said, "India needs Oxygen. Every 4 minutes a person dies by COVID-19. Crematoriums and burials are running out of space. You can save precious lives."

He captioned the post, "It's your chance to save lives! With India facing the worst of the pandemic, people are dying due to lack of oxygen. Let's come together to help the country fight #COVID and save precious lives. @khalsaaid_india is providing oxygen concentrators and we urge you to come forward and do you bit to help India breathe."

Recently, Priyanka Chopra also announced her collaboration with the non-profit Give India to set up a fundraiser to improve the health infrastructure in India. The money raised will also go towards oxygen supplies. Actor Sonu Sood has been on the forefront of the fight against COVID by helping people get access to medical facilities. Alia Bhatt also took to social media to announce her collaboration with Faye D'Souza to amplify pleas for help.

Since the onset of the second COVID wave, people have been struggling to gain access to hospital beds and oxygen. Many people turned to strangers on Twitter to amplify their cries for help and help them find resources.
