After the spate of Bollywood weddings, that included Ranveer-Deepika, Anushka-Virat and Nick-Priyanka, fans have been waiting for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s official wedding confirmation.

Their eagerness is such that they have already edited pictures of the couple getting married. In Alia's latest advertisement, she has donned a beautiful wedding lehenga and fans have photoshopped Ranbir's face in place of the male model. The edited version of the picture has been going viral and evidently, it gives us an idea of what the couple will look like on the D-day.

From what we know from our sources, their actual wedding day is not too far away though.

Sources have told The Quint, that the couple will be tying the knot soon, but both the Kapoor and the Bhatt families are tight lipped about the date.

They have also bought a new house together which is being renovated for them to move in after the wedding.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were recently seen at Mukesh Ambani's Ganpati celebrations. The duo looked adorable together. While Alia looked ravishing in a printed saree, Ranbir was the handsome man in a silver kurta paired with a jacket. The duo will be seen together in the Ayan Mukerji directorial Brahmastra.

News of Ranbir, reportedly asking Mahesh Bhatt for Alia's hand in marriage was doing the rounds in August.

Also, earlier this year, there was a rumour that the actors might get married this year. At the time Alia's mother, Soni Razdan had said,

“Look, it is sweet of all their fans to ask everything about them. I am Alia’s mother. I really do not want to talk about my daughter’s personal life. I want her to be happy. And she has my love and blessing on everything she does, beyond that I want her to live her life the way she wants to.”
