Actor Sonu Sood has decided to leave Kangana Ranaut-starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi due to last minute changes.
Sonu will be seen playing a grey character in Rohit Shetty's Simmba, and has grown a beard as part of his look. But the actor was supposed to have a clean shaven look in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.

Whose film is it anyway? That’s the question that seems to hound films starring Kangana Ranaut lately. The actor’s last big release, Simran, had a fair bit of controversy around it regarding its writing credit and a tiff that that Kangana had with the film’s director Hansal Mehta. Now, a similar issue seems to be cropping up with Kangana’s underproduction film on the Rani of Jhansi.
A picture that’s doing rounds on social media of the clapboard of Kangana’s upcoming ambitious film Manikarnika, clearly shows the director’s name as Kangana Ranaut. This photograph has raised eyebrows because Krish Jagarlamudi is actually directing the period film.

Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan’s Bharat co-star, who saved the day for the project and his rumoured ex-girlfriend was snapped with the star’s mother Salma Khan in Malta, during the filming of the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial. Arpita Khan had shared the image of Salman Khan’s mother hugging Kat in her ‘bridal’ avatar (a look from the one of the scenes in the film) on Instagram.
