Even Discussing the Rape Issue Feels Disgusting: Amitabh Bachchan

The brand ambassador of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ finds it terrible to speak about the Kathua and Unnao rape issue.

The brand ambassador of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Amitabh Bachchan finds conversations about rape “disgusting”. When asked to comment on the Kathua and Unnao rapes at an event, the veteran actor said that it is terrible to even speak about it.

“Even discussing this issue feels disgusting, don’t bring up this issue. It is terrible to even talk about it”.

Pooja Bhatt reacted to his unwillingness to address the issue on Twitter.

With the country up in arms about the rape cases in Unnao and Jammu & Kashmir, Amitabh Bachchan has not said anything in support of the victims or the rape culture. As the brand ambassador, Amitabh has praised the government for its efforts through the campaign Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.
