The country was shaken after the terrible Pulwama attack on 14 February, when a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel was attacked by a vehicle-borne suicide bomber.

The attack cost us the lives of 40 CRPF personnel. While the country mourned the loss of its brave men, Bollywood rushed to the Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association (IMPPA), to register names related to the incident.

When The Quint reached out to IMPPA, they informed us that four of the 35+ titles applied for, have now been copyrighted.

Here’s a list of the titles and the producers it went to:

1. ‘The Air Strike’: Unilazer Ventures

Unilazer Ventures, an investment firm founded by Ronnie Screwvala, the producer of Uri, has bagged The Air Strike.

2. ‘Abhinandan’: Rikku Rakesh Nath

Rikku Rakesh Nath, or Madhuri’s very own manager in her earlier years, has grabbed ‘Abhinandan’ with both hands. Simran Entertainment had also applied for the same title, IMPPA told The Quint.

‘Josh Is High’ has been copyrighted by Super Cassettes or T-Series. Apart from this, T-Series also applied for titles like ‘Surgical Strike 2’ and ‘Zero Mercy Pulwama’.

4. ‘Pulwama’: Producer Vijay Galani

And while Sanjay Leela Bhansali did apply for the title ‘Pulwama’, he unfortunately lost out to producer Vijay Galani. Galani has earlier produced films like ‘Veer’ with Salman Khan.
